BIO:

Seila Montes is a Spanish photojournalist, documentary photographer, and videographer. She graduated from the London College of Communication (LCC).

Her work explores themes of identity and belonging within minority communities and among individuals. She also covers environmental issues and their impact on communities.

She is a member of the Women Photograph collective.

2025- Selected for the NEW YORK TIMES portofolio review.
 
2025- One Water award, exhibition in the UN building, Paris.

2024-  Selected to exhibit in XPOSURE festival, Sarjah, United Emirates.

2021- Second prize BARTHUR PHOTO AWARDS, exhibited in Berlin.

2020- Finalist CAPTURE THE MOMENT, Exhibit in photoville festival, New York.
